Trying to figure out how to string together your million Indian wedding ideas so that everything’s in theme, well drop whatever you’re doing and check out this super fun Delhi wedding that’s a design dream! Karan and Sangini’s amazing wedding is as unconventional as they come, with a gazillion fresh ideas and details that amazed everyone! 😍

Keeping up with the KUMRAS

Karan and Sangini, one of our fav. couples that make a perfect match, we ain’t kidding, their combination is quite a catch! Think Sanity meets Spontaneity, Calm meets Crazy, Planned meets playful, Salman Fan meets a Bhai Skeptic, smart meets well.. equally smart! 😉 Their match sparked the right notes from the start, resulting in a super pretty wedding straight from the heart! 💖

We’re talking a stunning wedding card that went all the way to the mandap & wedding stage, a stunning Sangeet which was a tribute to Salman Khan (we told you she was a fan and HOW! 😜) and a super fun “Love Birds” mehndi that was all the rage! 💞Karan and Sangini’s full wedding was DIY ‘d by Sangini’s fam-bam and designed by her sister so she could delegate everything and focus on her newfound mister! *blush*

What We Loved a.ka. Their Wedding WOWs

There’s so many details in this wedding that made us go Flat! But we’ll try our best to pick a little bit of this and a little bit of that! 😋⬇︎

That Card!

Sangini’s tree of life wedding card is definitely part of our favourite wedding card ideas, as hers was one that guest’s could actually USE as a t-light holder later! A super pretty invite suite made from wood and velvet. She even planned pretty little floral pouches (with the same print as her wedding decor) for some organic DIY Kahwa! The pouches made a comeback to house the phera flower confetti at the mandap too! *Love it*

P.s. They even got in on the wedding tagline trend. Theirs was “happily ever after begins here” which they used from the very start, even though their functions were 6 months apart! 😮

That Offbeat Kitsch Mehndi Party

The entire Mehndi concept which was offbeat, kitschy, colourful and fresh all at once with love birds hanging the air, perched on the bar, tables, food display – pretty much everywhere! They even had actual talking birds chirping away, now that’s a definite awesome theme they slayed!

Ahem! Love the Liquid Assests Bar fit for these two finance professionals 💞

The Bar menu ‘cards’ with Karan’s favourite drinks named after Sangini’s favourite films (#TBT Salman Khan) and lines.😜 You’ve Got to see those adorable drink signs! *Swoon*

Don’t miss the matching bandhini bridesmaids Sarees she planned when she popped the question for all her bridesmaids 💖

Theirs was a crazy coordinated burgundy and ivory chintz themed wedding (right down to napkins at the wedding) that mirrored their wedding card! WOW! that level of detailing must have been hard! 😮

Don’t miss the burgundy and ivory Saafas her ‘Best Men’ wore! #Score!

The Candid Bindaas Bride

From the Bride

“The basic truth is, and I say this on behalf of all brides across the world, while we know what we want our wedding to look and feel like, getting there is a maze! I knew I didn’t want something conventional but then at the same time I did want something traditional. I wanted it to be personalised and Tell OUR story even if it meant that it’ll be a bit understated. No part of it could be “we’ve seen that before” and achieving all this was quite a chore! Luckily my family had my back, having a sister who is a dream designer was my #WeddingHack! Who better than our family that understood our style. They helped put our ideas together in a super quirky way, to create something that blew even us away!”  Well, we’re Totally blown away too 🙋🏻💖
