Every Bride knows it’s super important to find the right crew for those candid captures! Well, before you freeze the perfect photographers for your big fat Indian wedding, you NEED to hear these tips by One of the best wedding photographers in India – Sephi Bergeson! 😎
We caught up with Sephi at the ICWF 2016 and asked him for Tips Brides NEED to know ⬇︎⬇︎
TIPS FOR CHOOSING YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
We asked Sephi what brides should keep in mind when choosing their candid wedding photographer, take notes ladies ✏️
“There’s honestly no recipe for what you need to look for. You need to look for someone you feel comfortable with. Some people feel comfortable with me, others don’t. They prefer a different person who is not so out there. Some people need the assurance of a big team to take care of them, others don’t want to see the photographers at all!” Says Sephi. “What I think, Photography is possibly the most important expense at your wedding. Because nothing else stays!”
So Ladies, think this decision through! As Sephi said, photography is the ONE thing from your wedding that will stay on! Find the photographer that makes you feel comfortable and cared for. ‘Coz it’s through the photos that your wedding will stay on for posterity 😊
TIPS FOR CAMERA SHY BRIDES 📸
Yes, it’s nice to have SOME attention and make sure everything is dreamy and perfect, but every girl doesn’t like being in front of the camera ALL THE TIME! It’s one thing to get a Selfie or get group pictures, but solo poses, couple clicks and candid shoots are another ball game all together! So, to alleviate your worries (and mine!) we asked one of best wedding photographers in India a.k.a Sephi Bergeson, what should you do if you’re shy?
He Said, “Since you’re not used to being photographed always, you’re very self conscious. It makes you shy, embarrassed and intimidated. But, the one thing you need to remember is that all these feelings that you’re feeling are legitimate things to feel. If you allow yourself to be embarrassed, its actually very sweet! It’s beautiful really! But, if you don’t allow yourself to be embarrassed and you pretend, you will look bad! Your smile will not be real, your emotions will not be real, your eyes wont be real, because you wont be there!”
“But, if you’re shy, embarrassed and you allow yourself to be embarrassed, you’ll look Fantastic in pictures!” 😍
Sephi does not believe in making his subject pose. There is a spontaneity in all his frames, most of them award winning mind you! According to him, one should let moments happen as they do 😊
Whoa! Makes so much sense! Thanks to Sephi’s amazing advice, I’m no longer stressing about closing up in nervousness near a camera. As Sephi said, posing isn’t pretty, it’s shy that is beautiful. And hey! If the best photographer out there says it, you’re sorted! 😎
