Love Story by the Bride: “I had always been unsettled with the idea of an arranged marriage. Spending the rest of your life with someone handpicked by your family whom I’ve met a few times is strange, to say the least. However, when I met Shallaabh for the first time, the Bollywood girl inside me could instantly sense violins in the background and fluttering butterflies in my stomach. When I happened to hit it off at once and bonded over every small aspect of life effortlessly, I couldn’t be more grateful for this ‘arranged’ meeting. I met him a couple of times and then Shallaabh decided to pull off a a grand gesture. On my 29th birthday, he went down on his knees with a beautiful Tiffany’s ring around our family and friends and asked me to marry him. I was bursting with joy and screamed a resounding yes!”
