Shalini tells her love story: “Akhil was from New York and I from Kolkata. We both met on a Matrimonial App where Akhil kept messaging me for over 3 months, but, I never bothered checking my inbox because I didn’t liked the app! Little did I know that, that same app would make me meet the man of my dreams. Upon seeing his messages I was impressed by how he had already confidently messaged that he was gonna come meet me in December with his family. Before we knew it, we were dating. After a year of courtship and long-distance calls between New York and Kolkata we finally got married on 5th Jan, 2020.
Fun Fact: We found out that both our parents got married on the very same date, 7th Feb,1992 Rose Day! God couldn’t have shown a more clear sign, could he? ;)”

“We had a destination wedding at Dusit Thani in Hua Hin Thailand. Our wedding was nothing short of a fairy tale filled with intricate details. I spent almost a year planning and selected all my vendors. We wanted an intimate destination wedding where our family and friends could have the time of their lives and wanted to keep it close knit with only people that truly mattered. We had 9 functions with 3 functions per day!
