From The Bride : “Ankit and I first met at a family wedding back in India. I lived in the US and he is from the UK. I remember him trying to impress me with his optometry knowledge and we sneakily flirted throughout the entire wedding. Soon, he became my best friend. We even dated for years but, our parents didn’t approve, so we broke it off. I was initially angry at him to let me go and not fight harder. Two years and a boyfriend later, I rang up Ankit out of nowhere and said I’ll need you to be my rebound. And he said, “ok. He surprised me with a visit to New York and gave me a letter that read, “if given a chance now, I would fight harder.” I once again, mustered up the courage to speak to my mom and she took it surprisingly well. My dad took some time, but, he finally agreed, and the rest is history…”

We love that our bride had such a fun approach to her wedding! Spotted in a flawless white lehenga she enjoyed every bit of her function with BAE, rather than sitting in a corner getting henna done all day! The two are just adorbs though!
The couple opted for a Moroccon theme mehendi decor with hues of yellow and blue. Their mehendi dance floor had a beautiful ceiling of greens leaves and yellow roses that we just loved. 💖 A little haven designed for the couple – complete with green covers and adorable tipi tent canopy lounges!
