Skincare Hacks & Haircare Tips To Celebrate A Fuss Free 1st Holi !
We’ve got something super special for our witty newlyweds ! Check out the most important skincare & hair care tips, to celebrate a safe & skin friendly Holi.. (Ladies please take a note of this, even if you’re playing the organic holi..)
Skincare ‘Pre game’ for Holi :
Before the Holi celebrations, one can take these steps to ensure that your natural beauty is safe from all the chemicals..
Yesss, the most crucial step is to apply coconut oil (on the hair & skin) just before playing with colours. The coconut oil acts as a shield to avoid any damage whatsoever.
You can also apply nail paint on your nails. In this way you can protect your nail tip & preserve the natural pink hues of your nails.
Wear layered Cotton clothes
Don’t ever wear a single layer of clothing. Always go for layered clothing for a holi party.. (PS- Opt for full sleeves outfits that are breathable, with no skin irritation & also so easy to wash) – A complete win-win situation !
Apply vaseline over your lips & nose, in a very soft manner. As lips & nose are the most sensitive part of the body.
Style Hack – Sunglasses
Tenu Kala chashma jachda ae! Put on your old sunglasses to protect your precious eyes from any chemicals, specially for those who wear lenses!
Big no to Jewellery
Newly weds, attention please! Please avoid wearing rings or any precious jewels. As the chemical colours can stain the glam of your jewellery. (PS- Though, feel free to flaunt lovely floral jewellery )
After Holi :
Apply Face Masks
To remove the colour, apply homemade masks on your skin & hair. Trust us, this is the ultimate hack. (PS – Scrubbing your body with tomatoes followed by a rinse with lukewarm water, is a fab way to rid the colour too!)
Ice Ice Baby
If you see the redness or rashes, & even the sullen skin- then rub ice gently on that affected part, for relief & let your skin heal. Also, avoid salon or beauty parlours for a week.
These were our tried & tested hacks to get your skin & hair ready for the ‘game day’. Don’t let anything dampen your spirit to celebrate, take care of your skin & just goooo for it.After all, Holi hai!! Do tell us, if you have any more Holi ready tips!
